Can anyone create a graph and compare the results to past elections?

We need a list of what type of e-voting machines each area had. This is vital because we can compare what machine leads to what result.

3rd
We need a list of human errors and machine errors.

14 machines didn't work in one county, on and off all day, that was the Acoma & Laguna Pueblos. Another Pueblo closed the precinct down for a Pueblo holiday, reopened at 5PM. Some counties had more voters then actual voters.

Judge eyed on ballots

By Shea Andersen
Tribune Reporter

A Republican judge in one voting precinct has some explaining to do, Bernalillo County Clerk Mary Herrera said this morning.

As the weary clerk's staff continued to examine provisional ballots, attention gathered on one batch in which the disqualified ballots all were Democrat and those that qualified were Republican, Herrera said.

Herrera's staff had been combing through 2,000 "questionable" ballots, which led to the certification of 1,400 of them.

So much for your break! lol.gif

I will work on what type of machines, but I'm not making any promises at this point because in some states that info is not readily available. Also, each precinct varies and this list may be quite extensive.

Background info:

What kind of ballots and voting systems are used in New Mexico?

New Mexico uses paper ballots that are scanned on an electronic optical scanning system for absentee voting. Counties may also use optical scan systems for early voting. Some counties use optical scan systems for election day voting.
Other models of electronic voting systems are used for early voting and precinct voting on election day. See link to voting systems for the type of voting system in use in your county.

What if I do not want to vote on an electronic voting machine?
If you do not want to vote on an electronic voting machine, you may vote with an absentee ballot, which is a paper ballot. Absentee ballots are counted on an electronic scanning voting system that tabulates ballots.
If you choose to go to the polls on election day, you will not be issued a paper ballot except for the reasons allowed in the Election Code.

When does a voter get an emergency paper ballot?
Emergency paper ballots are issued at the polling place only when a voting system becomes disabled and cannot be repaired in a reasonable length of time and there are no other voting machines available for substitution (Section 1-12-13 C.,NMSA 1978).
When does a voter get a provisional ballot?
You will be issued a provisional ballot if your name does not appear on the roster at your polling place or if you are a first time voter who registered by mail and you do not provide the required identification (Section 1-12-8 (A) (cool.gif, NMSA 1978).

Perhaps we should compare what systems were used in the counties that show the suspicious red shift.

Bernalillo had the highest number of incidents (308) which include voter suppression, fraudulent registrations, machine problems, etc.

46% of Reg Dems (162,309) vs. 34% Reg of Repubs (122,309) in that county
The majority of the Dems in that county won by very wide margins unlike the K-E win. Interesting that Bush won 121, 610 votes in that county. Seems like an awfully HIGH turn out of Repubs (nearly 100%) or a high number of those who swung to Repub ONLY at the top of the ticket. What an oddity.

I'm still not doing as much, but Democratic Underground is also looking into it. I just thought we could get a jump start as well on it before thanksgiving holiday. I'm kind of crossthreading what we find over there so that we can help everyone looking into it.
