The spread of Rove’s PowerPoint.

One overlooked detail in today’s Office of Special Counsel story: as was long suspected, the partisan PowerPoint presentation created by Karl Rove’s office and presented to appointees at the General Services Administration in January was actually shown widely throughout the administration:

QUOTE
The Los Angeles Times has learned that similar presentations were made by other White House staff members, including Rove, to other Cabinet agencies. During such presentations, employees said they got a not-so-subtle message about helping endangered Republicans.

Such presentations likely violate the Hatch Act, which explicitly prohibits partisan campaign activities on federal property.

The fact is this is only the latest of the lawlessness of this rogue administration. The gaunlet has been thrown down long ago. This President and his Administration believe they are the law, and if they do it it is legal. They must be confronted on every front if we are to save the Republic. The House and the Senate are doing what they can. When this is all over I pray that the MSM is broken up from the huge holding companies that own it (that will be hard with the SC packed with religious fanatics and corporate shills), and the complacent talking heads who showed nothing but cowardice are driven off the air by massive repudiation of them and their infomercials.
