Full Version: Scriptural Tilt of Education and Parenting

I believe that Persons with strong personal Democratic and Humanitarian Agendas naturally come together
for mutual support and are most inclined to discover win-win solutions. So the question becomes,
What are we doing to get in our own way individually, and collectively? How do we need to change our Training Philosophy and Technology? We keep po poing about how education
handles the teaching of Evolution without even noticing that Human Beings (Persons, as we know them) are evolving, in interaction with the evolving human language system, in ways not clearly understood. Or that the culture we came out of and are still influenced by is evolving and will be influenced by what we do and don't do. Scriptural Vestiges tilt the language and educational pracitices away from a naturalistic, democratic and humanitarian conceptual model of the
Human Person existing a social system in an evolving Universe. As a culture we feed our anti-intellualism more than we encourage each other be become more learning oriented.

If any of you perceive this tilt and recognize the disadvantage of having a population that have not internalized standard science-based concepts maybe we will generate some discussion about
how to remedy this problem.

How do we educate the young to build a democratic and humanitarian social system?
