The New York Times has been on a multi-year campaign to restrict the executive powers of President Bush. Now the paper looks ahead to the next President (likely a Democrat) and calls upon that President to be given powers to unilaterally makes decisions regarding Iraq. More

The Grey Lady has long ago (Judy Miller era) sunk to tabloid-level in my eyes. Just another corporate propaganda rag, staffed with some very good journalists, but ready willing and able to tout the BushCo party line as the Gospel.

I read it, but that grain of salt is now too large to get in my mouth. I read many other sources before believing what I read in the NYT.
