Bad-Mouthing Deregulation Nader.Org — The assault on regulation and for de-regulation caused a subprime mortgage collapse that is producing hundreds of thousands of foreclosures, all caused by speculative greed, taking on huge risks for higher returns and the Bush administration's refusal to apply financial law and order.

Of course he is right. Laissez-faire where appropriate has made our country strong, and encouraged true entreprenurship. But the dark side is the deliberate and fanatical deregulation of the "commons" and all that should not be a commodity on the fictional "free-market", and is the cause celibree of the "privateers" (pirates) among us.
