Poole February 19th, 2008 A sizable segment of military officers agree that five years of wrong priorities and wrong decisions in the war in Iraq has left America less safe. One of the big problems with this report is Isaiah Poole is pretty much a partisan hack. He long ago burned any credibility capital he might have had.

Let me place a few of his quotes here if you don't believe me.

"As a detailed outline of how the government will spend your tax dollars in fiscal year 2009, the budget submitted to Congress by President Bush is virtually worthless."

"Once again, an obstinate Republican minority in the Senate vetoes the majority will"

"The Bushies never liked the Community Development Block Grant program, and has justified trying to kill it by rating it "ineffective."

"First lady Laura Bush is scheduled for a friendly chat with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, and it's frankly hard to narrow down the questions we'd like to hear the husband of George W. Bush answer. (For starters: What on earth is wrong with your husband, anyway?)"

"A federally-imposed reporting requirement goes into effect today that is a transparent attempt by the Bush administration to intimidate union activists and hamper union activity."

"While President Bush continues to spread sunny optimism about the economy, we keep hearing discordant news from places where the sun doesn't shine."

"At a time when the failures of conservative governance just in the last two weeks are strewn across the country like rubble from a bomb blast"

"the disastrous effects of Bush administration policy on the Gulf Coast is still without peer."

"It's not just the criminally bungled initial response that continues to have ripple effects on the population; it's also the policies that the administration does have in place based on its discredited notions of what's right for America."

"With all of the talk about the conservative obstructionism in Congress that is keeping important bills from becoming law"

""Sicko" is required viewing"

"The perversity of conservative failure is that by rendering government incapable or unwilling of doing anything that serves the common good"

"Celebrities spewing racist drivel get the headlines and the outrage, but largely out of the public eye the Bush administration has been doing something far more damaging to victims of discrimination than the utterance of a few vile slurs."

"There is more evidence today that the Bush administration’s economic policies are widening the gap between the rich and the poor."

"A $124 billion war funding supplemental bill is scheduled for a vote in the House of Representatives today, and progressive anti-war members are, for the most part, planning to hold their nose and vote for it."

Whether he's a patisan hack or a bona fide reporter, he quoted the source for this statement. More than some people do.

Well you see, Isaiah has a blog, a very outspoken blog, where he loves tobash anything but Obama. You ought to love it.

Statistics are that majority of armed services voted for Ron Paul. Since he did not support action in Iraq and believed we should leave that statistic documents the statement.
