Our city/county administration is meeting tonight to vote on this citys Fairness Ordinance. It guarantees protection from persecution in areas of Race, Gender, and/or Sexual Orientation. It appears that it will pass!
The irony is that Dr Frank Simons, a long time antigay fanatic, sent out a letter, hoping to sway the publics sympathy. The letter was filled with misinformation, even stooping so low as to graphically describe the actual sex act, and he is a minister. He points to the fact that on the outside of the letter he typed in red that this was obscene material and if you didn't want to read it don't open it. Wonder what he would have done if someone sent him a Hustler magazine in an envelope marked like that. He'd probably have his lawyers on your doorstep the next day.

For the record the ordinace passed by a substantial margin due in fact to the letter sent out by Mr Simon. That is all, see ya bye.
