Marine Corps Vision and Strategy 2025 - SWJ

The purpose of the vision and strategy document is to inform all Marines where we intend to take our Corps to give combatant commanders a concept of how we might best be employed, and to provide our civilian leadership a reference point as to how we see Marine Corps contributions to national defense in the coming years and decades. This document is grounded in the Marine Corps’ identity, ethos, values, and competencies. It serves as the principal strategic planning document for our Corps and reflects our legislated roles, functions, and composition. Derived from strategic guidance at the national and departmental level, it illustrates our utility and value within the joint warfighting community.

STOOOOOOPID IS AS STOOOOOOPID DOES, Marine .....

Just saying .....

Do we have any correlation or relation here, do you think, with what you are proposing above here?

How much more of this can we expect up here from your plan?

Is this the NEW CORPS VISION for America?

Is this related in any way to the BUSHIAN STRATEGY FOR VICTORY in IRAQINAM?

Winning HEARTS and MINDS through a CAMPAIGN OF VIOLENCE against women?

Just curious is all ...

And so ...

"CNY Marine instructor charged with sexual assault"

Associated Press

Last updated: 8:22 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008

PULASKI, N.Y. -- Police are charging a longtime Marine ROTC instructor at an upstate high school with sexually assaulting a woman.

The woman told police that 53-year-old Daniel Aguilar of Pulaski punched her, threatened to kill her and forced her to perform a sex act after an argument last month.

Aguilar is charged with felony counts of assault, criminal sex act and attempted rape, and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment.

Aguilar is a member of the Pulaski school board and the former deputy mayor of the Oswego County town.

He has been the Marine Corps Junior ROTC instructor at Mexico High School for about 10 years.

Aguilar is free on $5,000 cash bail.

He is due back in court July 22.

Mexico school officials have placed him on paid leave.

I don't think so and am havin' problems figurin' out how you came to that conclusion. Methinks, had you actually read it, you'da found "The purpose of the vision and strategy document is to inform all Marines where we intend to take our Corps to give combatant commanders a concept of how we might best be employed, and to provide our civilian leadership a reference point as to how we see Marine Corps contributions to national defense in the coming years and decades", but instead you chose to go off on some silly tangent and 'twould seem try to denigrate a fine and honorable branch of the American military in the process, eh? 'Tis a puzzlement!

Now, "Warfighting Community" is an interesting concept. One might wish that a warfighting community would be one that is against war. In the first place it seems to me an awfully big
stretch to call the aggregate of all the military services a, "Community."

Sorry you are so dense ....

That wasn't a conclusion that you cited ....

It was a question ....

Is this the NEW CORPS VISION for America?

You can tell a question from a conclusion by the sentence structure, usually, anyway ...

And that thing on the end that looks like this - ? - in the English language, that is a QUESTION MARK, and its presence is a dead give-away that a question is being asked, rather than a conclusion being stated ...

Obviously, you lack the necessary language skills in the English language to make that differentiation ...

So you have just publicly embarrased yourself here ....

But that's alright ....

You probably were one of those childs who were left behind ....

So it's not your fault you never learned proper English language skills ....

It's somebody else's ....

And so ...

And do you think that I concocted this news story out of thin air like I was a PREVARICATING BUSHCO, in order to embarass the Marine Corps?

Do you think the news story is false?

That none of it ever happened?

I mean, they guy is innocent until proven guilty ...

But then again, some of his innocence was stripped from him in New York State by New York State laws when he was arrested on probable cause ....

Well Junior, from someone who's only perspective is the draft era Army of about thirty five years ago I sincerely doubt if you'd understand.

It's the 21st century Junior, stop living in the past.

It is the 21st Century, as you say, Marine ....

And the Marine Corps of the 21st Century seems to have some on-going problems with continued violence towards women ...

And you are correct ...

As an older American, I don't quite understand it ...

But I think that it is a failure of leadership, myself ....

TOO MUCH ARROAGANCE IS BEING TAUGHT BY THE SENIOR NCO's ...

AND NO RESPONSIBILITY IS BEING INSTILLED BY THE OFFICER'S CORPS ....

And so ...

And yes, Marine ...

I'll continue to live in a past where violence towards women by men in uniform was un-heard of ....

I prefer that to your "anything goes" morality of today ...

And so ...

I always find it strange to hear how the message that not all is right in "RiverCity" is the fault of the messenger. That to point to something that needs attention is to "denigrate", rather than be a call to attend to the true dishonor. Who truly dishonors the Marines when one of their own shows the training up for flawed? That is the surface implication, unless you say the training didn't take in him? And how are the vast majority of honorable ones trained to behave when this is brought to their attention?

How does training react?

How does honor react?

And is there a difference?

I think it would be interesting if Snuff would explain why she started this thread.

I always find it strange to hear how the message that not all is right in "RiverCity" is the fault of the messenger.

And the real point of this particular exercise for me is that this is not just "some Marine" ....

This particular Marine was the Marine Corps Junior ROTC instructor at Mexico High School in New York State for about 10 years ....

There is the real point with me - VALUES ....

Whose VALUES was this guy instilling in these young Americans for all these years?

And exactly what were they?

Was he "cloning" himself?

"**** THE LAW!"

"WHEN YOU PUT ON THIS UNIFORM, YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!"

And I don't think that I am at all out of place in here in wondering about that ....

WHAT IS THE POLICY OF THE U.S. MARINE CORPS ON VIOLENCE TOWARDS WOMEN?

And how come this guy didn't know about it, if the CORPS is against it ....

And so ...

Well, with respect to your first one, Marine, you closing off your ears to reality doesn't change reality ....

And as to your second one ....

You lost me ....

I haven't a clue as to what you said there ....

Something in Texan, I guess it was ....

But since I don't speak Texan, I completely missed your meaning, Marine ....
