Remember Rove started focusing on the campaign as early as 2001. Remember that he worked from the beginning at the county level so that the organization could "correct" the opinions in the lagging areas.

Now if you want to prevent the Baathification of America, you have to leverage on where Kerry-Edwards stood on November the 2nd. Build a grid of people standing at the local level to defend the very soul of the nation. People who refuse the transformation of the World's model democracy into a religious monarchy or a fascist nation. People who care for the good of all and every member of the community before caring for themselves.

Democrats lost on the values issues, which is unacceptable since Bush represents the negation of the values that built America. Moderates must prevail in the future, and will prevail if they focus on values first (tolerance, respect, true compassion). Funny though, George W. initially only gave 35 million to Tsunami victims (until the entire world gave W. a public outcry of how repulsively
Scrooge-like he is). Yet "expert" Jeb somehow managed to get 29 million of FEMA monies to Dade County (where Miami was NOT hit by ANY of the four hurricanes
