I don't really have an opinion one way or the other (my opinion is usually, "Figure out what works and run with it!"), but I am still trying to figure out this quote:
QUOTE
Another kindergarten mother, Vanessa Grady, wasn't as supportive. She said her son, Zephania, needs more schooling, not less, and classes should be extended to Saturdays.
"Schools are too lax already," Grady said. "And extending the school day would leave less time for us as a family."
Okay. . .explain this one. . .she's complaining about less time for family - and why doesn't Saturday, when everyone is fresh and rested, count? First she says that she wants Saturday schooling, and then says that the longer day would cut into her family time. Huh?
Just one of those quotes worthy of a double take. . .
