Francis Boyle: Iran Should Sue U.S. in World Court to Stop Threats of Attack

There is a precedent, says Francis Boyle, Professor of International Law
at the University of Illinois. In 1992 Libya sued the
U.S. in the World Court and when the World Court agreed to hear the
case, the first Bush Administration backed off its threats. Moreover,
the World Court proceedings eventually led to real negotiations
between the U.S. and Libya.
