After a legitimate election, most of the time the losing side can actually respect that the "majority" spoke and that democracy has ruled the day.

In times like today, we cannot have that luxury. Vote fraud could have affected 5 million votes! Maybe even more. The fact is that if Florida in 2000 wasn't so shady, we could actually believe in democracy again.

Has there ever been a time in history where vote fraud helped a president win TWO ELECTIONS in a row in ANY democratic country? Let alone the "best democracy" of them all? Does any history/political science majors out there know?

We are the majority. We spoke on election day. Our voices were silenced, muffled, distorted, but let God Almighty know what really happened, and let God Almighty be the one to judge Bush in the end and to give us strength to fight the evil Phillistines that rule this government today.

I notice that there are many soul-searching debates on the future of the Democratic party and why it didn't win etc. However, no party except the Republicans can ever hope to win if this voting fiasco is not sorted NOW! America needs to wake up. I really do think we need outside help on our elections. Perhaps Canada should oversee our next elections?

My amazement is that, knowing what we knew about GWB's track record, he didn't lose every state but Texas.

We are either a very scared nation or a very stupid one. In any event, Bush should have been trounced so bad even cheating couldn't help.

I think we are a scared nation. If the people can make the media report about our beliefs through protesting, I think we got a decent chance at getting this country back on track. However, Los Angeles Times was given a 80 million dollar bonus for "terrorism", which is twice what was allocated last year, and also notable in the light of terrorism budgets being decreased.

San Francisco Chronicle, please. Make this country good again.
