"There are widespread reports of irregularities in the November 2004 election. These include: discrepancies between exit polls and tabulated votes, in 10 of 11 battleground states, and widespread electronic voting machine malfunctions, including votes for Kerry being recorded as votes for Bush in six states. Numerous examples of voter suppression and intimidation have been documented. Voters were told to vote on a later date or in the wrong place.

Faulty and insufficient voting machines were assigned to Democratic-leaning precincts in Ohio and elsewhere. Lines to vote were up to 12 hours long. In addition, absentee ballots never arrived to voters and there were numerous problems with provisional ballots."
