Obama Supporter --

People keep asking me if we're really going to announce Barack's VP directly to our supporters.

The answer is yes.

Let me be very clear. You are the ones who built this campaign, and Barack wants you to be the first to know who will join him in leading our movement for change.

So, if you haven't signed up to receive an email or a text message, sign up now. Or you can text VP to 62262 from your mobile phone.

Make sure to forward this message to your friends and let them know about this special opportunity.

Thanks,

David

Dear Obama Supporter --

Barack Obama is about to make one of the most important decisions of this campaign -- choosing a running mate.

You have helped build this movement from the bottom up, and Barack wants you to be the first to know his choice.

Sign up today to be the first to know:

http://my.barackobama.com/vp

You will receive an email the moment Barack makes his decision, or you can text VP to 62262 to receive a text message on your mobile phone.

Once you've signed up, please forward this email to your friends, family, and coworkers to let them know about this special opportunity.

No other campaign has done this before. You can be part of this important moment.

I know he does.

He knows its Evan Bayh and he knows how much it gets us, but he still won't let the cat out of the bag.

I enrolled Dick Cheney to be one of the first to know,I figure he'll get a good laugh out of it. Maybe even give him another heart attack, eh?

Maybe he's on Obama's short list --- that would certainly throw a wrench into the process and talk about a bipartisanship...

If we have to have a former wrestler as VP, I would prefer Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Rock. cool.gif

here reason #26,234 why it can't be Bayh

CLI Welcomes Sen. Bayh; Adds to Bipartisan Consensus
U.S. Newswire, February, 2003

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Committee for the Liberation of Iraq (CLI) is pleased to welcome Senator Evan Bayh (D- Ind.) as an Honorary Co-Chairman. Bayh becomes the third U.S. Senator to join the committee after Senators Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) announced their participation on Jan. 28.

"To remove weapons of mass destruction, we must remove the regime of Saddam Hussein," said Bayh. "To think anything else is to delude ourselves." Senator Bayh was a leading sponsor of the congressional resolution authorizing the use of military ...

I would be very happy with that choice, though he may not necessarily bring a state with him --- he is a moderate -- a Clinton supporter --- etc.

But as I have mentioned -- he brings national security and foreign policy experience -- not economic experience -- and Obama always feels pretty confident in those areas...so this is why I remain skeptical of Clark being chosen and more sure it will be Bayh.

A lot of people made a mistake on Iraq.

However, some people have been willing to admit they made a mistake and others not.

Bayh has admitted he made a mistake and he never attended any of those meetings that he can recall...

Nice try Graham. I am still looking for you to post info on one of the many scandals you have suggested he has been a part of... rolleyes.gif
