Iraq, Ballots and Pistachios
By THOMAS L. FRIEDMAN
Is it such a hard call for Arabs and Europeans to figure
out whose side they should be on in Iraq?

Why don't we add another paragraph to Freidman's column. Here I've even written it for him:

"Since these factions aren't responding as I believe they should, the vacuum is going to be filled by american journalists volunteering to secure the polls. I, for one believe in putting my foot where my mouth is and I am going to twist the arms of the following to support Fair and Balanced Iraqi elections. I'm sure Hannity, O'Reilly, Novak, Scheiffer, Blitzer, Scarborough, Kratzhammer(no discrimination against the disabled here), Safire,(no discrimination against age either), and none against sex, I'm sure Coulter, Graham, et al will be more than eager. Count on me for at least a couple of hundred, and I bet they even have their own frequent flyer miles."

Way to go Thomas, just man the polls and be sure you are properly armed, but don't count on sitting in an armored HumVee and everyone takes an oath to not do any early exit polls.
