Clinton's Brother Secretly Met with McCain Adviser
by Setrak
Wed Aug 20, 2008 at 05:27:13 AM PDT
Carly Fiorina, known best for reassuring ex-Clinton backers that John McCain voted for Ginsburg/Souter/et cetra's confirmation even while McCain says he'd never appoint them, while also hinting that McCain won't give a preference to viagra over contraceptives when it comes to medical coverage(actually, he does!), has met privately with the brother of Hillary Rodham Clinton in Pennsylvania. I am not kidding you. Hillary Clinton's own brother is planning to vote Republican after supporting her in the primaries.

Wasn't Clinton suppose to reach out to these people? Per the Times Tribune of Scranton, Pennsylvania;

Setrak's diary :: ::
The private gathering featured Carly Fiorina, Mr. McCain’s top economic adviser, and took place at the Dunmore home of political consultant Jamie Brazil, a longtime friend of Mrs. Clinton’s family who has signed on as paid national director of Mr. McCain’s Citizens for McCain Coalition.

The attendees included Tony Rodham, Mrs. Clinton’s youngest sibling, his wife, Megan, and their two children; attorney Kathleen Granahan Kane, who coordinated Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign in Northeast Pennsylvania during the primary election; and Virginia McGregor, sister of Scranton Mayor Chris Doherty.
Meanwhile, PUMA groups are trying to gain attention in Denver. Prominent supporters of her's are proudly stating that they will vote for her. Bill is still praising McCain. They're still expecting their debts to be paid off while their internal memos leak out to the world. She says "unity", and hasn't even brought her own brother into the fold? Governor Rendell's done about as good of a job, since some of these people are his friends;

Mr. Brazil is a longtime close friend of the Rodham family and a friend of Mr. Rendell, who also supported Mrs. Clinton.

With that said, please read Mo-Dowd's op-ed today in the New York Times titled "Two Against One."

ANYONE ELSE starting to smell a Lamont/Lieberman 06 type deal?

Hillary says she backs Obama, but does NOTHING for him (just like in 06 when she said she supported Lamont), McCain picks Lieberman and wins in 2008, saying he will only be one term

Hillary runs in 2012

though who would elect her I have no idea (maybe the republicans)

She has done -everything- Obama asked her to do. She's not allowed to just take off on her own... so I'm not really sure what you expect her TO do. She was out stumping for him during his entire vacation...

I think your sniffer is congested.

I got a letter last week from a Hillary group urging me to vote for McCain so "The Gal" can run with it in 2012. It wasn't an official Hillary group and I really don't thinkthey need to do this. Obama's going to get the living daylights whipped out of him anyways.

While I get nervous thinking about what Hillary might do (I get even more nervous thinking about Bill, who seems to be taking defeat a lot worse than she is!) she has been working for him.

A lot of people are nervous about her - the party was basically split almost evenly between her and Barack.

I'm not nervous about it.

Bill taking it bad?

Well, the last person in the world I'd want pissed off at me would be Bill Clinton. He won't take it bad; he'll get even with a hefty amount of interest placed on top of it.

Funny thing is Marine never voted for Bill Clinton, he is DaddyBush41's voter...

I should find the post YOU MARINE MADE where you said if Obama got too close, Bill would whack him soprano style

It was about 6 or 7 months ago if it wasn't deleted for being the obscenity it was (and it should have been sent to the authorities too)

I myself pray and hope the Globe article was right about 2 months ago, for if it was true, then a few months after Paul Newman leaves us a fat bulbous nose man will from heart disease...
because the Globe magazine whenever they say someone is dying, they are spot on. I pray that was true. Then we could all tramp the dirt down as Elvis sang about Mags Thatcher.

The depths of your darkness never ceases to amaze me. I sure hope you can avoid the karma, G.

Graham, I don't think that either of them are there making you type this stuff.
