"The people who crucified Jesus addressed him, saying: ’If you are the true Son of God, come down from the cross.’ But the true power of a son of God does not lie in escaping ordeals or even in appearing not to fear them. True power lies in accepting them with clarity and selflessness, and above all in peace and unity of spirit. Jesus knew about the trials awaiting him and had announced them to his disciples. But the cruelty of the torture he endured on the cross awakened the dark forces of his purely human nature, and he cried out: ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’ In fact, God had not forsaken Jesus, but this feeling of abandonment, of solitude can be experienced even by the greatest initiates. The human nature in Jesus could not help but utter cries of distress, but he did so with love, without rebellion, and here lies all the difference. This is why in the end he regained light and peace, and spoke these last words: ‘Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.’"

"Christmas and Easter – the birth of Jesus which is celebrated in the beginning of winter, and his resurrection which is celebrated in the spring – represent two pages in the great Book of Nature. This idea may offend many Christians, but instead of being offended, they would do better to reflect on it. Those who fixed the dates of these feast days long ago were beings who possessed great knowledge of the relationship between nature and the human soul. They had meditated profoundly on the life of Jesus and his teaching and had understood that in his identification with the cosmic principle of the Christ, an ideal encounter had taken place in him between the spiritual life and the life of nature, the universal life. In an effort to distinguish itself as clearly as possible from paganism, which was characterized by the worship of the forces of nature, Christianity severed its living ties with the universe. This is why even today the profound meaning of their religion eludes Christians. Only a few initiates who possess the true science of symbols recognize in the birth and resurrection of Jesus processes which are linked to the cosmic life and thus have universal meaning. "

"The candles and lamps which are lit in churches are symbols of our spirit and soul, which we are to light each day with the celestial flame. And once we have lit them, we can also set fire to other spirits and souls around us. On Easter morning in the Orthodox churches, the faithful each hold a candle. The bishop begins by lighting a candle from which the nearest attending officiate lights his. Then, one after the other, each of the faithful lights his candle from the one next to him. It is as if a fire is gradually spreading …until the church is filled with a multitude of small flames! In an initiatic school you learn not only to set your spirit and soul alight but, once you have done so, to keep the flame burning, so that other spirits and souls may come and be kindled at your fire. "All religions remind human beings of their divine origin and provide them with methods for merging with the Divinity. Religions are one thing, however, and their representatives are another. How few of these are truly conscious of the importance of their task. This is why, despite the existence of all the sacred books of unsurpassed elevation and beauty, we see so many people everywhere fall away and become prey to the seductive forces which inhabit their lower selves. If so many ‘believers’ are obliged to admit at some point that they no longer have faith, or perhaps that they never had it, it is because no one ever explained to them that faith begins with an understanding of the human being, and with the realization of the work they must undertake on themselves. One who has truly undertaken this work can no longer question the existence of God. Because he knows he is linked to this existence, that he is part of it, he can no more deny God than he can deny himself."

"How can we distinguish love from sexuality when in amorous relationships one never goes without the other? Sexuality is a purely egocentric tendency which incites human beings to seek their own pleasure, even to the detriment of their partner. Love, on the contrary, thinks first and foremost of the other’s happiness. It is based on sacrifice: the sacrifice of time, energy or money, if necessary, in order to help the other, to enable the other to blossom and develop all his or her qualities. Nothing is more beautiful than love, when men and women are ready to accept deprivation, to wrest something from themselves in order to give it. And you who walk on the spiritual path know that spirituality begins in fact with the reign of love over sexuality. Only when you are able to sacrifice for the good of the other are you capable of love."

"The conclusions we draw about people and events depend on our point of view. From the geocentric point of view, we observe that the sun rises, sets and turns around the earth. But this is only true in appearance, and in the same way, those who habitually draw their conclusions from appearances are also mistaken. Their science and philosophy are erroneous and based on an identical illusion: that the sun turns around the earth. Whereas those who adopt a heliocentric point of view, who know how to place themselves in the sun in order to see everything from its vantage point, see the truth. You will say: ‘We all know it is the earth that turns around the sun!’ Yes, theoretically, but in practice you act as if the opposite were true! This is why I repeat: ‘Work each day to find the sun within you, to find the divine aspect of yourself. Live, look and act from this place, and you will live in truth.’"

This man "Jesus" as you refer to him wouldn't bother shoving his opinion down someone's throat. Unless of course you are talking about the passive-aggressive, alien-enabled nut case that was sent to take over the world.

Either way, i'm tired of wasting time on the over-rated S-O-B and pretty much refuse to give the subject matter so much as the time of day other than to get off my daily rant.

sorry for the negativity, but sometimes that kinda energy can be put to good use

Sex can be an expression of love or it can be purely selfish. I look at Love & Sex as that they simply amplify a person's state of mind and current life experienece. Society binds us to behave according to a certain set of standards and all in the name of protecting society. Sex in it of itself is actually just a physical exercise that can be enjoyable or whatever you want depending on the situation and ofcourse your biological needs.... if you choose to be uneducated on the matter, sex will continue to be the ultimate "chain" in your life, no difference than a leash for a pet.... get educated on the matter and sex can be a wonderful expression of love with those you love.... in any event, society and education are able to meet on common ground in that sex should be considered an adult level activity and should always be exercised with mutual consent....

Sex is a biological need and not just for procreation... it's also natures way of releaving stress and reminding the participants why they are here... that is, to live life to the fullest. Such that what might be erroneously considered sexual deviance is actually the basic need to have a higher quality of life but feeling restricted from doing so.... which is a byproduct of a lack of education.

I could say more.... but the point is simple, the more education you have, the higher quality of life you can expect, which includes a much more enjoyable sex life.

and i'm speaking from personal experience.

"Whether they call themselves believers or non-believers, most people are uncertain about their beliefs. Here is an anecdote which circulated in the communist countries some years ago. Back from their space trip, Russian cosmonauts are received with great pomp and ceremony at the Kremlin, where Brezhnev congratulates and decorates them before a large crowd. Once the ceremony is over, he takes them aside: ‘Tell me honestly,’ he asks, ‘did you see God up there?’ ‘Yes,’ the cosmonauts answer. ‘Ah,’ Brezhnev sighs, ‘of course, just as I thought.’ Some time later the same cosmonauts are received in the Vatican by the Pope. Here too there is great ceremony. At the end, when all have retired, the Pope takes the cosmonauts aside and says: ‘There is something on my mind: during the course of your travels in space, did you come across God?’ ‘No,’ they answer, ‘we didn’t see him.’ The Pope looks a bit disappointed and murmurs: ’Of course, just as I thought.’"

"Why has the universe been able to survive for billions of years? Because it is governed by laws which ensure its stability. The human being, who is constructed like the universe, cannot survive and function as an organised system unless he too agrees to be governed by laws. Unfortunately, the whole world is inhabited by people who imagine they can succeed with any idea whatsoever, with any sentiment or project whatsoever. No, they come to a very bad end. You will say that this is not their fault, that no one has ever taught them this. Say instead that it is they who have not looked to be instructed. When we earnestly search, the light comes. Those who look for a teacher find one, and this teacher will tell them that if they continue to concentrate on the satisfaction of their most personal ambitions and desires, they will eventually collide with forces that will crush them. It is impossible to oppose the forces governing the universe for long."

"Mountains and valleys have their counterparts in our
inner lives. Valleys represent fertility and therefore
abundance, generosity and goodness. It is in the
valleys, not on the summits, that we find trees,
gardens, fruits, flowers and cities inhabited by human
beings. On high peaks we find rock, ice and sterility.
Do you feel lonely? Well, come down
from the summit where your intellect has taken you.
Descend into the valley where abundance prevails,
where the heart manifests itself, where
the waters of love flow. The knowledge you have
acquired on the summits must melt and form streams and
rivers which will fertilize the valleys.
There is a time to go up and a time to go down: there
is a time to rise to the mountain peak by way of your
intellect and a time to descend into the valley by way
of your heart."

effort to work with your imagination. Imagine yourselves surrounded by light, sending your love throughout the whole world, surmounting obstacles and difficulties. Little by little the images you form will come alive and act on your consciousness. They will transform you as they work
to attract the necessary elements from the universe and establish them within you. At first the effects of this exercise will not last long, and you will have to repeat it often. But one day the results will be definitive and impossible to doubt. Above you, you will sense the presence

"Claiming they don’t want to influence their children, some parents decide not to give them any religious education. They say: ‘We want to leave them free; it is they who will choose later on.’ Well, this reasoning is completely misguided. Obviously there are certain forms of religious education which oppress the spirit, which render people narrow-minded and lead them to intolerance and even fanaticism, and we must be wary of them. But do we take away children’s freedom when we make them aware of the world of the soul and spirit? No, and children who have received a spiritual education are better equipped for life than those who have
received none. They will face the same difficulties, the same obstacles as everyone else, but because they have learned to enter into contact with the divine world, when conditions are such that others become weak and discouraged or follow tortuous paths, they, on the contrary, will
advance and improve themselves. They will become a support and a light for those around them."

Every day you have the possibility not only to link yourselves with the luminous entities who populate the universe, but to draw them nearer to you. So address yourselves to them: ‘Come, celestial friends, come make your dwelling place in me.’ You can also add: ‘Lord God, Divine Mother, Holy Trinity, all angels and archangels, servants of God and of light, my entire being belongs to you; make use of me for the glory of God, for his kingdom and justice on earth.’ Pronounce these words is the true consecration. "Discouragement is one of the most negative states human beings can experience, because it deprives them of most of their energy. You should know, however, that even in the worst moments, this discouragement contains elements which, if you know how to lay hold of them and use them, will help you to take heart again. Discouragement deprives you of your energies, but it is a state that contains formidable forces. The proof? That it is capable of demolishing an entire kingdom – yourself, along with all the riches and possibilities amassed in your body, heart, intellect, soul and spirit – shows it is really very powerful! Well then, why not try to seize this force and orient it in a positive direction? Strive to be conscious of all the possibilities within you. "All the problems human beings seek to resolve have their solution in the great Book of Nature, and it is bees and butterflies that give us the solution to the problem of love. How do human beings generally understand love? Like caterpillars, which eat the leaves of plants. But one day the caterpillar becomes a butterfly, which no longer eats leaves. Instead, it visits the flowers and, without damaging them, feeds on their nectar. The bee also feeds on the nectar of flowers and then sets to work making honey, which is the finest of foods. Like the butterfly, the initiate loves to visit the flowers, which is to say, all human creatures. His love does not harm them, for he takes only a tiny drop of their quintessence and, like the bee, produces in his laboratories the honey that will serve as food for the entire world. As you can see, all solutions are to be found in nature: it is here we must look for them."

Aquarius brings with it a revolution in technology as well as in concepts related to the human psyche. But the most important revolution concerns the notion of universal brotherhood. The Age of Aquarius must teach humanity that we are no longer to work only for ourselves, our family and our country, but also for the whole earth. This new philosophy is, of course, based on a science. Those who are ready to embrace this ideal of universal brotherhood must learn to elevate themselves by means of thought in order to contact the divine world. "Jesus said: ‘Unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’ How are we to understand these words? Those who are interested in making comparisons between man and animal emphasize the rapidity with which the baby animal develops and acquires autonomy. And what about human children! The slow pace of their development is obviously due to the great richness of human nature. So many elements must be put in place physically and psychically in order for children to take possession of all their faculties! Until they are able to do so, they need the help and protection of their parents. But the evolution of a human being does not end when his parents have finished playing their role, because man is also a spiritual entity who must continually progress. This is why on the spiritual plane, human beings will always be children in need of parents. One who wants to be a child in the sense that Jesus meant it must therefore acquire great knowledge, and the more he opens his heart to his spiritual parents and allows them to guide him, the more enlightened he becomes."

Yes, a tree is a living creature that knows how to attract and accumulate solar energy. When we burn it, we see that it is made of a little earth, a little more water, and air in still greater quantity; but it is fire, the light, which makes up the greatest part of it. Man is made in the image of the tree: he too is made of fire and light and possesses the same quintessence as the sun. Why do we mislead ourselves by reiterating that we are dust and will return to dust? The initiates tell us just the opposite: ‘You are made of light, you can nourish yourself with light, and you will return to light.’ Yes, man is identical to a tree, and if he understood the laws with which nature works, he too could fix and contain this cosmic force, this energy of the celestial fire – all these forms of the spirit which are wisdom and love."

You must concentrate, meditate, pray and unite with the divine world, in order to provide better and better conditions for the manifestation of your spirit. But how many people really attempt to explore and profit from the world of thought? So few! Most spend their time looking elsewhere, outside themselves. But outside ourselves we find only the means to act on matter. The means by which we can transform ourselves inwardly, by which we can influence our soul and mind and attain this image of God, can only be found within us, in the realm of thought. In dem Moment ist er der König, er nimmt seinen Platz auf dem Thron wieder ein und alles gehorcht ihm: Gefühle, Gedanken, Instinkte, Wünsche. For most people, freedom means opening all the doors and windows and leaving, claiming ‘I’m free’, even though they carry all their prisons within them. Because impurities create obstacles to the circulation of energy, whether it be physical or spiritual. It is therefore important for human beings to rid themselves of these impurities, and if purification exercises have such an important place in initiatic science, it is obviously with good reason. We must undertake this purification not only by physical means (fasting, breathing exercises, cleansing, and so on), but also by spiritual means: concentration, meditation and prayer, in order to introduce within ourselves a substance which disintegrates and throws off these unwholesome elements. Scientists must now decide to explore this capacity of human beings to enter into relationship with the world of invisible realities, and, in order to do so, they must agree to conduct a serious study of the experiences of the mystics, the spiritual Masters. In the Cabbalah, the Tree of Life can be compared to a mountain whose summit is the sephirah Kether, the all powerful, the all-knowing, divine love. To reach this summit, great qualities are necessary: tenacity, willpower, stability, intelligence, daring and, above all, an irresistible desire for light and purity. These qualities are represented by the other sephiroth, from Malkuth to Chokmah."

"Why are human beings weak? Why are they unhappy? Because they look for everything, including God, outside themselves. But God is within us and we cannot separate from him. At the very most we can place dark screens and opaque layers between him and ourselves, but he is still there, present, he exists. Nothing is more real or true than the existence of God. That we cannot prove this is simply an argument in his favour. If he were as we would like him to be, if we could see him and touch him, he would be extraordinarily limited. He would no longer be God. To feel his presence should be enough for us, without wanting proof of it by such limited and inadequate means."

"Why have so many men and women who once adored each other grown tired of one another and separated? Because they did not know how to stay alive. If they had taken care to maintain the life within themselves, to embellish it and render it poetic, they would have continued to please each other and to love each other. Because unconsciously, it is life that all these men and women are looking for; in fact, it is the only thing they are looking for. And life is always tied to love. When you love someone, you try to explain your love somehow, whereas in fact there is no explanation: if you love him, it is because of the life that emanates from him in the form of beauty, or goodness, or purity. or intelligence, or peace… The boredom that inhabits so many people on earth and that drives them into dead ends stems from the fact that they do not know how to renew the life within them. They meet, and after a few moments of excitement they become bored with one another. So if you want to be loved and do not want to bore others, be alive!"

"Why are there so many suicides and accidental deaths among adolescents? The transition from childhood to adolescence is marked not only by great physiological changes but by psychological and spiritual ones as well; and as adolescents do not know how to channel their energies, just when life begins to manifest itself the most forcefully in them, they are in danger of dying. It is here that parents have such great responsibilities. In recalling their own adolescent experiences, they must think years in advance about the period of crisis their children will inevitably pass through, so they will be in a position to give them the elements for surmounting it. Otherwise, what happens? When the time comes, the parents, completely overwhelmed by what is happening, let things go, telling themselves that after a difficult period everything will turn out fine. They do exactly what animals do: after a certain period of time, they turn their young loose in the wilds: whether they will survive or not remains to be seen. Indeed, they shall see what they shall see."

"God is life, he alone gives life, no other being has this power. Once the wheat is transformed into the host, the mission of the priest, by means of his blessing, is to envelop this host with a fluid of a spiritual nature, so that it is received in the best way possible by the soul and spirit of the person who takes it. Even if there were no priest to give his blessing, the believer, conscious that God has put his own life into this host, is able to open a door in himself through which all the currents of heaven begin to circulate. It is not the host which has this power; it is the human being who bestows powers upon it, by the way in which he perceives it. Do not be surprised, then, when I tell you that by adopting an attitude of respect, gratitude and love towards the food you eat each day, you accomplish a sacred act which not only nourishes your physical body, but also your subtle bodies, including your
soul and your spirit."

"People generally limit themselves to a rather prosaic use of numbers: they use them to count or calculate, and there are so many things that can be counted! But numbers are also living realities, and, if we know how to meditate on them, they will help us in our spiritual work. Let us take the number four. In geometry it is expressed as a square, or a cube, which symbolizes all that is firmly established on earth, in the material realm. ‘The New Jerusalem which descends from heaven’ as described by St. John is a cube. But the cube is also the figure of limitation, of confinement, of imprisonment. Imprisonment provokes suffering: the imprisoned man suffers. If he knows how to understand this suffering, however, and to overcome it, he purifies himself. Consequently, we can say that the number four represents confinement on the physical plane, suffering on the psychic plane, and purity on the spiritual plane. One who has purified himself is free, he is released from his prison."

"We have received life and we are alive. We make use of life, we draw from it in order to satisfy our desires, our needs and our whims. We believe that in doing so we will develop and blossom, when in reality we become weaker. God, who has given us life so that we may be strong, beautiful, powerful, luminous and fulfilled, sees only unhappy, sickly, dull and stunted creatures. If there is just one thing to understand, it is that the only science worth studying is the science of life. All the other subjects and activities you undertake will truly produce something only if you have first understood this essential reality: life. The way in which you consider this divine life you have been given will determine the quality of your conduct and your activities."

"To interpret the symbol of the circle, the circumference and the centre point, we must not study these two elements in a fixed state, but in motion. The point radiates, and its movement is rectilinear. It is the movement of electricity, of the masculine principle. In opposition, the movement of the circumference is one of dilatation, of magnetism, of the feminine principle. The rays which radiate from the centre point project, push and give, whereas the circle, the circumference attracts, takes, receives and absorbs. The straight line and the curved line, electricity and magnetism, are two complementary expressions of life that also exist in us. In the activity of the intellect and spirit, we find the rectilinear movement of the rays radiating from the centre. In the activity of the heart and soul, we recognize the movement of the circumference which spreads in waves, engulfing everything in its path. The intellect and spirit express themselves through wisdom, the heart and soul through love. And the two are absolutely necessary: love must seek the centre point, wisdom, or it dissipates. Wisdom must surround itself with a circle, or it will remain alone like a king without a kingdom. By meditating on the figure of a circle and its centre point, we will understand why we must develop wisdom and love harmoniously within us."

"Just because evil is powerful, it does not mean that we must submit to it without doing anything. No, we must react. But in order to triumph over evil, it is unwise to confront it on its own ground, because there it is almost invincible, and we will be struck down. To triumph over evil we must rise above it, we must attain the higher regions of consciousness. From there we can hurl down fire and lightning, and it will flee! Man possesses a fortress within him which is superbly equipped to resist the aggressions of evil. This fortress is the light of his soul and spirit. When you aim this light at evil, it disperses. Why stand there doing nothing? When we become discouraged, the beings of darkness rejoice, saying: ‘This is marvellous, here is something to eat!’ This is how people allow themselves to be devoured by the spirits of darkness. When this darkness approaches, a true disciple defends himself. He climbs into his fortress and projects light, and this light dispels the darkness."

"Schematically it can be said that the human being consists of a material principle, the physical body, and a subtle principle, the spirit. But as the history of religion reveals, people have rarely understood what place they should accord to each. For some, only the spirit mattered, and they neglected their body to the point that they eventually wasted away. But, if the body is despicable to this extent, and only the spirit counts, why does man come down to earth? God should keep him on high, in the ethereal regions of space. If he descends to incarnate on earth, it means he has to work to do there with his body. The mission of the spirit is to take on a physical body and come down to work on the earth, to impregnate the earth with its qualities, thereby transforming it into a magnificent garden where God and his angels will come to walk. When Jesus said: ‘Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven’, he too was praying that the splendours of the spirit incarnate in matter. "

"When we decide to follow a spiritual teaching, we must seek nothing other than methods for improving ourselves. Those who imagine that through a spiritual teaching they will learn the secrets of the elixir of eternal youth or the universal panacea, and, that they will then be sheltered from illness, old age and death, are under dangerous illusions. Even a saint, an initiate, despite his knowledge, light and power, does not escape illness or old age. Just because we are living in the light does not mean we are sheltered from physical harm. Light is one thing, health and longevity are another. Light is even willing to remove you from the earth and take you to its own region on high. To those who cling desperately to the earth, it says: ‘But why do you insist on staying so long in this dark place? Come and live with me.’ In the meantime, we must work with all the means a spiritual teaching gives to us."

"No matter what ideas are currently circulating in the world, you must never sever your bond with God. On the contrary, seek him, think of him, love him, invoke him. In doing so you will receive exceptionally powerful energies that will shelter you from evil. You might have some rough patches from time to time, because you have not yet managed to create this powerful bond with him. But when you succeed, whatever the trials you encounter or the suffering inflicted on you, you will sense that there is a place within you that has not been affected. What good is it to talk about the omnipotence of God if we do nothing to experience it within ourselves? We suffer, we complain, and we do nothing about it. Because we ourselves do nothing, we do not believe God can do anything either. But, concentrate on God, love him and think about him, and, because of this love, everything will fall into place. Everything will become harmonious within you, and you will feel stronger. "

"Observe yourself in order to discover your mental habits, and right away try to correct those that appear the most detrimental to your evolution. If you do nothing, over time you will gradually become total prisoners. And do not say: ‘Oh, when the time comes I’ll correct myself, I’ll straighten things out.’ No, do not delude yourselves, because once you decide to head in the right direction again, these tendencies will manifest themselves even more powerfully. It is when we want to take a new direction that we realize how constrained we are. As long as we do not know we are slaves, we do not feel enslaved, but when we become consciously aware of it and decide to free ourselves, this is when we see the gravity of the situation. So pay attention, do not simply let yourself go and tell yourself that when the time comes you will manage to pull yourself together. Of course, if you really want to, you will manage to do so, but with how much more pain and effort!"

"Spiritual work is first and foremost a work with the light. It is written in Genesis that at the beginning of the world, God created the light. But this was not the physical light we know, which only appeared on the fourth day with the creation of the sun and the stars. The light God called on in the beginning when he said:’ Let there be light’ is the cosmic light, this substance from which he made the matter of creation. If we meditate on this light and work to impregnate ourselves with it, we may attain the essence of God himself. When you eat, when you do your breathing exercises, when you pray, meditate, sing and go to the sunrise, know that it is possible to absorb this divine quintessence. Since it is the very matter of creation, you will always manage to extract from it at least a few particles, a few atoms, thanks to your work with thought. "
